Standard grade offers 98.0% minimum GC purity. Premium grade offers 99.0% minimum with lower isomer content and better colour. Premium is recommended for o-anisidine reduction routes needing tight impurity control.
The isomers differ in the position of the nitro group relative to the methoxy group. Ortho (91-23-6) gives o-anisidine on reduction, the isomer most widely used for azo pigments, while meta (555-03-3) and para (100-17-4) feed different routes. Order by CAS to get the isomer you need.
