Standard grade offers 98.0% minimum HPLC purity. Premium grade offers 99.0% minimum, lower moisture and ash, and tighter melting range. Premium is recommended for dye and pigment routes needing consistent shade.
The isomers differ in the position of the nitro groups, which changes melting point, colour and reactivity. 2,4-Dinitroaniline melts near 188 °C and is the isomer used for disperse dyes and pigments. Order by CAS (97-02-9).
