Standard grade offers 98.0% minimum GC purity. Premium grade offers 99.0% minimum, lower water content and inert-gas blanketed packaging. Premium is recommended for multi-step routes with tight impurity control.
Like most aromatic amines it slowly oxidises in air and light, moving from pale to amber or brown. This normally does not affect assay, but premium grade is packed under inert gas to limit it.
Both are C7H8ClN with the same molecular weight, so only the CAS number (87-60-5 here) and a GC or GC-MS isomer check on the COA distinguish them. Always match the CAS.
